You will develop electro-optical transceivers that enable secure, reliable and
energy-efficient high-speed communication, especially in extreme environments such as aerospace.

• Development and design of electronic circuits and PCB layouts for electro-optical transceivers with data rates from 25 Gbit/s
• Performing signal integrity analyses and simulations of high-frequency and mixed-signal circuits using HFSS and SiWave
• Evaluation, verification and optimisation of our products
• Further technical support during the transfer of the developed product to series production and product qualification
• Creation of high-speed test boards for use in measurement technology and at customer sites
• Selection of suitable components and close cooperation with suppliers and manufacturing partners
• Creation of technical documentation and reports

• Degree (bachelor's or master's) in electrical engineering or a comparable field
• Several years of professional experience in electronic design, ideally in the
  field of optical communications engineering
• In-depth knowledge of analogue and digital circuit design as well as high-speed PCB layout
• At least 3 years of experience in circuit and PCB design, preferably with Cadence Allegro
• Experience with simulation tools such as HFSS, SiWave, PSpice, ADS
• Team-oriented approach, analytical thinking and a high degree of initiative
• Strong focus on results
• Very good written and spoken English (C1)

Ideally, you also have e.g.

• Knowledge of aerospace development (radiation effects, design for reliability, thermal management or working with ECSS standards) is a strong plus
• Programming skills in LabVIEW
